After staying at the bar until 1:30am the slight lie-in this morning did little to make me feel any less tired, but I managed to get dressed and drag myself to the con for 9am. I was very surprised to see barely anyone in Michael’s queue and when it came time to get our tickets I was number 8 which is the lowest number I’ve ever been at any Showmasters event.

It was really weird actually. We went for a coffee and decided to go and see Michael for our autograph straight after. Because they’d given out so few tickets they were just letting anyone in regardless of what number they had. I have never seen a day this quiet at any con. It wasn’t just Michael, no one seemed to have any queues. It was quite scary.

Anyway, it was pretty obvious Michael was tired and hungover today. He barely spoke to me when I met him and didn’t really make eye contact until after he was done signing. He did tell me it was a cute picture and I shook his hand which got me a smile at least.

After that we had time to kill before our photos with Morena so we just wandered around and took photos of the guests since there were no real queues. Mark Sheppard saw me taking a photo and pretended to be all surprised. Hehe! He was really funny.

I had my photo taken with Morena and the photographer asked me to take my glasses off because they had gone really dark in the sun. I look weird with no glasses. LOL!

After that it was time for lunch and of course a Krispy Kreme doughnut because this is the only place I go to that sells them. LOL!

We just kind of wandered around killing time after that. I took a few more photos of Michael and then we just had a sit down until it was time for our photos with Michael.

He seemed in better form this afternoon and he smiled and said hello when I went up to him. Yet again there were problems getting the photo to look right so I got a bit of extra time with him again. When it came time for the second photo Michael to let me decide what I wanted to do this time so I went for standing in front of him which he seemed to like.

Then all we had to do was wait around to get our photos back. Once that was done we went to

yavannauk’s room which became a media centre while we all swapped photos and videos with each other.

After that we went out for dinner and Mark Sheppard came in not long after us. I felt kind of bad that he was by himself but I didn’t have the courage to ask him if he wanted to join us. Maybe he wanted a quiet meal anyway…

We bumped into him in the lift in the hotel anyway and he said he’d had a good weekend but joked that he was getting to old for it all. Hehe!

So, all in all it’s been a pretty good weekend. I have to say that half the joy of these things for me is meeting fellow fans. I loved spending time with both the girls I met at the last Collectormania and the girls I’d never met before. I think we all had a lot of fun.
