Eric Bittle's To-Do List:
1.) Frame Masters in Library and Information Science diploma and send to Mama, because she never understood the lack of sleep and abuse of caffeine, but she sent cookbooks and money for good chocolate, bless her.
2.) Throw away every last highlighted article, graded paper, and syllabus, because they are no longer needed, thank the sweet Lord.
3.) Promote the library's new periodic reading series, because it wasn't the capstone project for nothing.
4.) Harass Boston Bruins star Jack Zimmermann into taking a picture for @BPLWestEnd to promote the reading of his new children's book, Jacky's Bad Days.
5.) Do not ogle Boston Bruins star Jack Zimmermann's ass.
6.) Fail step five. Repeatedly.
God, this was amazing! So well written and it gave me all the feelings!

He could turn around and leave right now, and it would be like he’d never come at all. Turn around, walk across the dappled yard and back down the driveway, get back in his rental car and drive away. Get on a plane and go back home. Come back next season and start again. It would be familiar and safe, the same thing they do every summer.

Sid's crew is in the business of shipping — mainly. Sometimes, when the shipments from Bettman Corps are slow, they pick up extra shipments, or find things that are misplaced and return them to their rightful owners.
Sid doesn't like it when he hears the word bounty hunter or vigilante thrown around, because as far as the authorities know, Sid's crew has done nothing wrong. But it's common knowledge that if something needs taking care of, the crew of the Pittsburgh can get the job done.

Zhenya rode the Pens charter plane with the rest of the media crew: Michelle and Sam and the ROOT team. He went to bed too late and woke up way too fucking early. “Good thing you’re behind the camera instead of in front of it,” Michelle said one morning. She had a donut from the continental breakfast. Zhenya had two.
“You look like me, too, if you don’t have all that makeup,” Zhenya told her crankily.
I have a real weakness for fics where one of them is famous and the other isn’t

At this point, it almost makes sense in a karmic kind of way that the hot Russian guy from two weeks ago shows up while Sid is pretending to have a tug-of-war with his partner over his daughter.
