Day two of my Roadhouse report. Wow, I'm not normally this slow with things


Woke up early and instantly regretted the epic amounts of free wine from the night before. Lay in bed tweeting with some of my equally hungover friends before I eventually forced myself out of bed and into the shower. Breakfast was really not something I felt up to but I had orange juice and tea and felt much better after that

Because the con organisers are cruel creatures the first item on the schedule was a photo shoot with Mark Rolston. I was barely awake and not feeling it but when I got to Mark he wrapped his arm around me and said 'Now there's a real smiler' Apparently I am good at faking it in front of the camera. I don't even know what I did but the photographer gushed and said 'oh, that's really sweet' and he loved it so much he actually came over and showed me the picture on his camera which does not usually happen. I guess everyone before me was hungover and miserable. LOL. IDK



After that we headed into the dealer room which I was miffed to discover had a lack of Castiel/Misha merchandise. There was a Castiel t-shirt and that was about it. Everything else was Sam and Dean or the guests who were at the con. Well, it saved me money at least

Next was the photo shoot with Rob. I'd already decided that I wanted a hug with him as he is just so small and cute. I had to restrain myself from smishing him at the drinks reception on the Friday night. LOL! I actually love how this photo came out and it's currently on my wall in the fandom shrine corner of my room



His hugs are more gentle than Misha's who goes for the full-on glomp.

After that we had a bit of time to kill so we sat around in the lobby and just chatted. Then it was time for my photo shoot with Chad. Now, I think I mentioned on here a while back that Chad and I had agreed on Twitter that we would do our photo op Caruso style. Unfortunately I am a dumbass and forgot my sunglasses and he didn't have any so we opted for rocking it out instead. I still love the way it came out

We headed into the autograph signing room so some of the other could get their autographs. I'd opted to wait until the Sunday so I could get my photo ops signed. But I'm glad I went with the others

Because it was a quiet con they were being pretty slack with the rules and some fans decided to write messages on the signs for the queues. Chad loved and and decided to add his own little message




Chad wrote the hearts Ellen bit on Sam's sign too

Rob then decided he wanted to play too



We paused for lunch and then it was time for my photo shoot with Sam


It was amusing when we all realised we could't get hugs with her because her boobs were in the way. LOL

Then it was time for the talks. Mark was up first





He had some interesting stuff to say. He talked about his work on Shawshank and what a humble man Morgan Freeman is. He talked a bit about Alistair, and how he based his voice on Marlon Brando. He seemed a bit pissed off about being replaced with another actor and said he would love to come back

Rob was up next

He said that the first time he met Jared and Jensen they were in the middle of this animated conversation about cage fighting (that they'd been watching on TV) and it kind of scared him.

He said that he would love to come back just so he can say 'I am the God Chuck'

He talked a bit about his work on Buffy (I didn't even know he'd been in Buffy. Apparently he was one of Adam's vampire lackeys). He said he met Joss and that it's really hard saying lines when you're wearing the prosthetics and teeth

He said that when they did the scene where Chuck hits Sam with the plunger that he accidentally hit him for real but because Jared is so built it was just like hitting a brick wall and Jared barely felt it

Apart from his music Rob also loves to write. He's more into writing screenplays than novels and he said it was more of a hobby than anything

Then he got into Misha. LOL! I had to tell kaylbunny about this as I'm pretty sure she was the first person to ship Misha/Rob.

Anyway, Rob said, in his own words 'I love Misha'. He said that they share the same agent and have quite a lot in common so they hang out a lot at conventions and on set. He said that the first time they met was in the car on the way to shoot the scene where Chuck and Castiel meet for the first time. Apparently the awe in Chuck's voice was genuine. He'd been happily chatting away to Misha and the director said 'action' and all of a sudden Misha's voice dropped an octave and he became a totally different person. Rob was so amazed at Misha's acting that it carried over into the character

Rob also said he is an out and proud minion but wanted a cool name for his followes too. The girl sitting next to me proposed Chuck's Chicks and Rob loved it so much he got down off the stage and high-fived her.























Chad's talk was next. He answered some generic questions and talked about his new movie which I didn't realise was as notorious as it is. He did his Caruso impression which he said wasn't right but I liked it. Someone asked him the shag, marry, kill question that Misha was asked at Vancon. He said he would shag Dean, marry Sam and kill Cas.

Let me tell you his has got a hot bod! He's slender but built. Unf! And WAY taller than I was expecting







Sam was last. She talked about Ellen and Jo's relationship and the death scene and how people tell her how it affected them. She too would shag Dean, marry Sam and kill Cas. She seemed really surprised when everyone (not me) started yelling for her to kill Sam. She asked if anyone wanted to kill Dean and I think I was the only one who raised my hand :-s

She talked a lot about Lost (for those not on her Twitter she just finished marathoning the whole thing). I asked her if she was on Lost what sort of character she would want to play. She said a mesh of Kate and Ana-Lucia. She liked Kate and while she said Evie did a good job she found it hard to believe she was any sort of hardened criminal. She hated Ana-Lucia but liked how kick-ass she was.

She talked about Evie and Dom dating and said she could't stop staring at his nose because it's huge. LOL! I never noticed that personally

She talked about Jared's farts and says that he holds them in until the Imapala windows are all closed so he can make it a big event. She said his farts don't smell as bad as they used to though and theorised it's because Gen is making him eat properly

She talked about Ellen and said if she could change one thing about Ellen she'd have had her get laid. She said she loves how strong Ellen is but at the same time she doesn't let anyone get close and there's a risk of her drive consuming her. She also believes that Ellen had a thing for John.

Sam talked about Livejournal and said there's sick and wrong stuff out there. But then she mentioned talking to someone at another con (it was qthelights) and she understands that fanfic is by the fans for the fans so it's not stuff she needs to be looking at anyway

We broke off for dinner (pizza! om nom nom) and then it was time for the party. Naturally as it was a Supernatural event they played mostly classic rock. It was awesome. The theme was Ben's Birthday so there was balloons and racecars and a bouncy castle.

I made the fatal mistake of leaving my camera with Holly and Linsey while I went to the loo. Random stuff ensued

We went outside for some fresh air and while we were there a couple of girls asked us to hold a Run Misha Run sign to support Misha's marathon. Well, of course we agreed

And in yet another example of the small world being small it turned out I knew one of them through the Fight the Apocalypse ARG from earlier in the year. So that was quite awesome.

We headed back inside and Holly made me go on the bouncy castle which actually turned out to be more fun than I was expecting

Then I spotted this awesome t-shirt


In the meantimethe guests had turned up to the party. Mark was on the bouncy castle with his son (missed it sadly) and then Chad decided he wanted a go


Sam decided to just cheer and whistle


Rob quickly got in on the action


He really went for it. He was doing somersaults and all sorts



Sam finally joined in



We went and sat down and played with the glowsticks some more

The guests were sat at the table we'd started off on and I noticed Sam was alone and amusing herself with one of the toy cars. Earlier she'd asked people to come and talk to her about Lost and I figured since no one else was with her I'd go and say hi.

She said she'd had most of her questions answered and that she still wasn't really happy with the ending but that she couldn't think of how it could have ended that would have satisfied her. She also didn't like Sayid being with Shannon in the end and not Nadia.

Then she told me she was waiting for her song to come on. She, Rob and Chad had all agreed they would dance when I Wanna Be Sedated by The Ramones came on. They'd requested it from the DJ but he hadn't played it yet

Then the song came on and Sam jumped up and told us to come and dance with them. We did and it was awesome.

Not long after that I headed to bed but I was just running on con adrenaline so I wound up talking on Twitter until 3am.
