One has to wonder at the thinking behind LJs decision to have their next permanent account sale at the start of December. With the current ecconomical situation who the hell is going to spend $150 on a permanent account that close to Christmas? Unless you're buying it as a gift for someone I guess. It just strikes me as a bit stupid. I would actually consider buying one if I didn't have Christmas presents to buy and I'm sure there must be other people in a similar situation.

What do you think? Or have you all fallen out with LJ now? LOL!

It's Saturday which means it's Merlin day. Hoorah!

I have set myself the target of getting my merlin_the_elf first draft finished by the end of the weekend so I can get it with a beta some time next week.

First I have the rest of my TV to catch up on though.

I'm still full of squee from tonight's Merlin so it occurs to me that now is the perfect time to try and finish my merlin_the_elf fic

You know, I think Smallville had damaged me emotionally. Every week just before Merlin starts I get filled with this feeling of dread that something bad is going to happen. There's no reason for it. The show seems to be getting better (and more gay) with each passing episode but I got so invested in Smallville before it shit on me that I'm scared my new fandom is going to do the same

It's occurred to me that one of the reason I love my Merlin boys so much is that I know they will always be together. With Clex we knew at some point they were going to end up enemies but with Merlin it's different. Yes, Arthur marries Guinevere but she ditches him for Lancelot. Merlin is with him right until the end *draws hearts all over them*

I've had a few glasses of wine. I hope it's not going to impact my writing too much ;)
