Questions by [livejournal.com profile] sussixer

1)What's your all-time favorite book? The one you read again and again.
It's very rare that I will read a book more than once as I always have loads of stuff on my to-read pile. The book I've read most is Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman so I guess it's that. LOL!

2)If you had only one lover for your entire life would you prefer passionate or inventive?
Passionate

3)What's the one thing you'd change about your appearence?
My teeth. I probably should have had braces when I was a kid

4)What's the one decorative (furniture piece) in your home that doesn't seem to go with your own style but for some reason you'd never let it go?
I'm not really sure I have a style when it comes to home decor. I've never lived alone so it's never been just my stuff on its own.

5)If you were a flower, what would you be and why?
A daisy. I don't know why.

Grr!

I am sick of this weather. I should not be waking up at 4am in the middle of October because I'm too hot.

On the plus side we haven't needed to turn the heating on yet which is good with the current financial situation

Ok, I'm all iconned out for now so there will be a break while I concentrate on my fics for a while. It's been WAY too long since I posted anything and I want to at least get my uber-crossover done and do some more work on my Snow White fic.

Interview with questions from [livejournal.com profile] calliopes_pen
1. What is the spookiest thing that has happened to you?
When I was at school I was sat in one of my classes when suddenly I felt this shooting pain in my arm which lasted for about ten minutes. I had no idea what was wrong. A few hours later I learned that the guy I had a crush on had broken his arm at about the same time my arm started hurting. That freaked me out

2. What is your favorite thing about Halloween?
All the awesome costumes

3. What is your least favorite book of all time?
There And Back Again by Sean Astin. Who remembers my daily rants when I was reading that? LOL!

4. What was the first movie you ever saw as a child?
OMG! I don't know! I think it was ET when I was about five.

5. Are there any scary tv shows/movies (or even just something innocent like Rainbow Brite) that caused nightmares as a child?
Raiders of the Lost Ark gave me nightmares when I was a kid. That's the one that sticks in my mind. I dreamed that dead bodies were coming out of my bedroom wall.

Isis

I don't think I'd ever really considered why Lana named her company The Isis Foundation until today. Greg was asking who Isis was in realtion to Egyptian mythology and I came across this

Isis is a goddess in Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs and is celebrated in their mythology as the ideal mother and wife, patron of nature and magic; friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, the downtrodden, as well as listening to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats and rulers.

Yup, that sounds like pretty much how The Goughlar has portrayed Lana for the last seven years. I'm really not looking forward to her coming back in Season 8
